Originally from Sweden, Josephine is now an adopted Leither. With a MA in Modern and Contemporary Art, she brings a deep passion for the arts and performing arts to everything she does. Over the years, Josephine has worked across a broad range of arts and cultural organisations in both Stockholm and Edinburgh. Her experience spans galleries, museums, and multi-purpose cultural venues, where she’s taken on roles in operations, marketing, and event production.

She’s also no stranger to heritage venues, with a particular soft spot for beautiful old buildings that creak, leak, and have more stories than they let on. She’s worked as a tour guide in a number of historic spots, diving into the details and stories that make each place unique - a habit she’s carried with her to Leith Theatre. With its rich history and strong heritage, she’s keen to learn every corner and quirk of the building and help bring its stories to life for others.
